Conference
It was great to have been part of the 200 women gathered in Moira Baptist Church on Saturday the 13th of March for the Baptist Women’s Conference. The morning was a very enjoyable experience. It was a good time of fellowship and praise and the topics covered by the women taking part were challenging and interesting.
The morning was split up into two sessions. After we were all given a warm welcome we sang a hymn and were led in prayer and then Ruth Hamilton began the programme on “ACTS of Prayer” by speaking about ‘Adoration’. We then spent time worshipping and praising God in song lead by Carolyn Arnold from Bethany before Eilish Agnew came to speak to us on ‘Confession’. We finished the first session by a hymn and again being led in prayer and then went to get a mid-morning caffeine fix and tray bakes provided by the ladies of Bethany Baptist.
The second session took the same format as the first with another time of praise together and Sandra Matthews covering the third point which was ‘Thanksgiving’ followed by Miriam Anderson on ‘Supplication’.
